After working for IBM Corporation in New York for many years, he helped Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) develop system specifications for computerization. He has since been an entrepreneur and helped bring many innovative products to market.

Pravin Kulkarni is a seasoned pharmaceutical quality, compliance, and transformation leader with over 25 years of experience across sterile injectables, biologics, oral solid dosage (OSD), and API manufacturing. He holds a Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, has completed a Leadership Development Program from IIM Ahmedabad, and earned a Harvard certification in Building Organizational Cultures. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive leadership roles including Senior Vice President, Vice President, Cluster Head, and Global Quality Leadership positions, successfully leading quality and compliance functions across multiple manufacturing sites and global operations.
Having served in leadership roles at organizations such as Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Biocon Biologics, Wockhardt, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Mylan, Pravin has led large-scale quality transformation, remediation, inspection readiness, microbiology, and compliance programs. He has extensive experience managing multi-site quality organizations, leading teams of hundreds of professionals, and working closely with global regulatory agencies including the US FDA, MHRA, EMA, TGA, ANVISA, and other international health authorities. His expertise spans Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Management Maturity (QMM), quality culture development, sterility assurance, contamination control, data assurance, and sustainable compliance strategies.

Saravana Kumar is a technology and product leader with over 25 years of experience turning ambitious ideas into scalable, real-world solutions. His career spans software engineering, systems architecture, product strategy, and innovation leadership — with a consistent track record of building things that last.
A graduate of REC Trichy (now NIT Trichy), Saravana began his career at Microsoft as an Architect, where he contributed to the design and development of enterprise-scale software — an experience that gave him both the technical rigour and the strategic lens he brings to every challenge.
For more than 18 years at LP, Saravana has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology vision and product evolution. He has led the architecture, design, and delivery of multiple generations of LP's products, driving platform modernization, engineering excellence, and operational scalability. Today, he spearheads several Artificial Intelligence initiatives focused on enhancing customer value, accelerating product innovation, and positioning LP for future growth.
Outside the office, he is an avid traveller, photographer, and trekker who finds equal joy in discovering new landscapes and capturing them through his lens. He is also a competitive badminton player. Girish Pillai is the Vice Preseident, Quality Operations at Light Pharma Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore, where he has spent the last 20 years working across the organization's Quality Operations, Information Security and Operations functions. During this period, Light Pharma has been appraised at CMMI Level 5 on multiple occasions and has held ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications for over a decade. Earlier in his career, he worked on India's online railway reservation system, one of the country's largest e-commerce and transactional platforms. He holds a Master of Computer Applications and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
Girish Pillai's areas of work include software quality assurance, computer system validation and assurance (CSV/CSA) for regulated life sciences environments, process maturity frameworks (CMMI), information security management (ISO 27001, 27017, 27018), risk-based quality management, and quality delivery management. His current areas of interest include artificial intelligence in regulated industries, particularly interpretable and explainable AI (XAI) for pharmaceutical and life sciences applications.
